European double girder gantry crane installed in Untied Kingdom

In the past time, we supplied one 5tons single girder gantry crane to Australia branch, three 3tons jib cranes to Trinidad & Tobago branch. For this time double girder gantry crane, it is the third time cooperation between us and Score Group.

Double girder gantry crane:

Double girder gantry crane is a kind of lifting equipment which is widely used in both or outside of the workshop, which is consisted by the main girder, end carriages, electric hoist and electrics etc. The capacity is from 5t to 800t, and span is from 4m to 50m,lifting height is from 6m to 50m.

The gantry crane for Score Group:

Score European limited required one gantry crane used in workshop. And told us the capacity is 50tons,span is 23.5m and lifting height shall at least 7m,power supply 400v,50hz,3phase

As crane used in workshop, so we have to know clearly how high of the workshop internal, then we asked them to send us the work drawing.

After study, we found if we use the China traditional gantry crane, the max lifting height is 6.3m,even if can save some cost for customer, but it cannot satisfy the working requirement. Then we checked the European style gantry crane, after the dimension calculations, we found for this kind crane, he max height is 7.5m and it can satisfy customer need.

What is more, United kingdom is belong to the developed countries, we know they have very strictly testing from Government. It is like to tell them again, all the crane configurations are come from European, ABM Germany made motor, Schneider France made electrics, GG Italy made controllers ,Timken American made bearing etc.

And the double girder gantry crane has the following character also: Double lifting speed, inverter traveling speed, FEM design standard etc.

All of them are the main standard of European market technical demand.

Then after our efforts, we made one agreement with Score on technical.

About the double girder gantry crane payment, Score European mentioned, all the payment which above 200,000 dollars shall get the bank guarantee and remain 5% payment after the installation—they explained this is their rules.

After hearing this, we replied them directly both Buyer and Seller have rules, we need to find one balance point to power it.

Then after the discussion, we made the 30% TT deposit,65% TT before delivery and 5% after the production.

Then we made the contract and they arranged deposit for production.

Production of double girder gantry crane:

We informed Score Group the production is already finished. Then Score European send one experienced engineer to do the inspecting.After the inspection, they feel our satisfied and called their finance department to pay the balance payment.

Double girder gantry crane delivery:

As we mentioned before, it is the double girder gantry crane with 23.5 m span. We know the max length of container is 11.9 m. So it is hard to load it into the container. As Score do not like to cut girders into two pieces, so we decided to deliver the crane by bulk ship after the discussion with them.

Then we packaged, as they in Scottland, so we choose the Liverpool port.

After about 50 days delivery, the vessel arrive in Liverpool port success.

During this delivery period, we offer the customer gantry crane foundation drawing, gantry crane mechanical operations and gantry crane electrics connection drawings.

As Score European has their own engineer team, so they handled their installations by themselves.
