The grab overhead crane is a kind of heavy duty overhead crane to grab and load coal, ash, coal gangue and other bulk goods and materials.

This grab overhead crane is widely used in freight port, river wharf, power plants, concrete mixing station, industrial and mining enterprises.

The grab overhead crane consists of Main Girder, End Carriage, Lifting Trolley, grab bucket and Electrical Parts. Generally, the power supply System for trolley and crane are festoon system and Bus Bar system.

Lifting Trolley is the most important mechanism of Crane. It includes lifting mechanism and cross traveling mechanism. The auxiliary lifting mechanism are opional according to different demands. Generally, the traveling mechanism are 1/2 drive.
The Lifting Speed from 1m/min to 40m/min and traveling speed from 10m/min to 50m/min for different usage and demands.

The trolley are assembled with motor, reducer, brake, trolley frame, drum, hook, pulley, wire rope, rain cover, wheel, bearing, buffer and other parts.

Following notes:

  1. Double Brake for working class at A6 and A7 lifting Mechanism.
  2. Wire rope safety factor: 6 times
  3. Double Limit Switch for lifting mechanism

Electric Parts are consists by Cabin, Control Box, Control Panel and Power Supply System. The electric parts we use Chinese top brand: Chint, and the Siemens, Schneider, ABB and Yaskawa are optional brand.
The speed are controlled by resistor and Inverter to realize single speed or multispeed. The Inverter control (VVVF) are suitable for precise operation, such as: Hydro Station rotor maintenance.

Generally, the Trolley use festoon system for power supply, the crane use Bus Bar system for power supply. And the power source could customize according to your demands.
